Run for the Cure Committee Members Needed

Volunteers are at the heart of all that the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF) does. The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure is Canada’s largest single day, volunteer-led fundraising event dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research and education and awareness programs.

The Atlantic Region is currently seeking Co-Run Directors for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure.

Co-Run Directors are volunteer CBCF representatives, who motivate, organize, lead, and support their local Run for the Cure committee. Each Run site requires two Co-Run Directors, who work in direct coordination with Regional Foundation staff, to manage the organization and fundraising of the event. They will ensure that the systems, national procedures, and standards for the Run for the Cure are implemented, and that the overall goals of the event are met.

The efforts of the Co-Run Directors will empower local Run committee members to increase involvement of volunteers, donors and participants to support this outstanding event.

Currently we are in need of Co-Run Directors for the following sites:

Moncton, NB
Fredericton, NB
Halifax, NS
St. John’s, NL

If you are interested in volunteering as a Co-Run Director with the Foundation and would like to submit a volunteer application and resume, please click here.

For more information on this exceptional opportunity, please contact Jeff deViller, Coordinator, Run for the Cure, Logistics via e-mail jdeviller@cbcf.org or call toll-free 1-866-273-2223.
