Brighten your summer with Pink Days in Bloom!

Summertime is here and Atlantic Canada is blooming brightly!  Through Pink Days in Bloom you can be a part of a growing movement by adding a fundraising component to your garden and/or floral business, or to your favourite outdoor hobby.

Whether you own a garden centre, maintain your own small greenhouse, or you simply enjoy taking time to smell the roses, you can host a fundraiser to make a difference!

In 2012, garden centres across Newfoundland and Labrador hosted Pink Days in Bloom events and raised over $25,000.  This one-of-a-kind fundraiser is the vision of volunteer and breast cancer survivor, Linda Ryan, along with Pat Puddester, owner of Pat’s Plants and Gardens in Bay Bulls, NL.

After the success of last year’s event, the idea is spreading across Atlantic Canada. Getting involved is easy! For more information, call 1-866-273-2223 or email cbcfatl@cbcf.org and ask about how you can bring Pink Days in Bloom to your community, or check our events page for activities in your area.
