New this year!

There are lots of new things happening for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure this year!

Here are just a few highlights:

•  New Site in Atlantic Canada - For the first time since 2007, Atlantic Canada has added a new site to the roster. New Glasgow, NS will host its first CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at the Pictou County Wellness Centre.

•  Timed Run - We are excited to announce the piloting of a chip timed option in Moncton, NB. All participants – new and returning, young and old – are invited to register as runners to have their 5km run timed. The addition of this new element will offer an enhanced experience for those who would like to be more competitive, while upholding the spirit that all participants have come to enjoy at the CIBC Run for the Cure.

•  T-Shirt design – The votes are in and the design has been chosen! We’re happy to have the same design voted for both the participant and survivor t-shirts this year. TAKE A PEEK!

•  CTV – We are so pleased to announce that CTV has joined the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation – Atlantic Region as a regional sponsor for the CIBC Run for the Cure. CTV is Canada's largest private broadcaster, offering a wide range of leading news, sports, and entertainment programming. Keep your eyes glued to CTV for information about the CIBC Run for the Cure!
