Paint Canada Pink (June 23 – June 30)

DSCN0316_resized.jpgWe’re so excited for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure that we’re counting down the days! And to celebrate the start of our 100 day countdown we’re PAINTING CANADA PINK!

June 23rd marks the beginning of Paint Canada Pink Week – a week of activities aimed at raising awareness for the CIBC Run for the Cure taking place on September 30, 2012. For the entire week, people across Canada will be adding some pink to their lives! In your local community, expect anything from PINK fountains to PINK chalk messages of hope on sidewalks to random acts of PINKNESS!

If you’re as excited as we are, get involved in the PINKIFYING – host a PINK lemonade stand, PINK up your sidewalk with chalk, wear PINK to work, or PINK up your social media profiles! Use this opportunity as motivation to set some run goals – fundraise $100 during this week, find 3 new people for your team, or walk the route to get ready.

What can you PINK in your community? Watch your local Facebook pages for what’s happening in your area!
