The CBCF – Atlantic Region Studentship Awards Program was established to generate an interest among undergraduate and graduate students in the field of breast cancer. Each award, valued at $6,500, supports a student for a maximum of 14 weeks throughout the summer."

Congratulations to our 2012 Studentship Award recipients:

Alexander Baker
Heidi Bentley

Jason McConnery*
Sheren Siani

*Jason McConnery has been named The Carol Ann Cole Comfort Heart Studentship Award recipient as the top ranked applicant in this year’s competition. In 2011, CBCF – Atlantic Region established the Carol Ann Cole Comfort Heart Studentship Award in recognition of Carol Ann’s contribution to CBCF. Carol Ann is founder of the Comfort Heart Initiative, which has raised well over a quarter of a million dollars for CBCF – Atlantic Region and over one million dollars for cancer research overall.
