Rodd LeBlanc achieves his five-year fundraising goal!

Rodd LeBlanc
July 9th marked the 5th and final year for Rodd LeBlanc’s Golf Fore the Cure of IT in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation – Atlantic Region. Since 2008, this proud Moncton resident has hosted this event at the Moncton Golf and Country Club. Golfing non-stop while clad head-to-toe in pink, each year Rodd hit the course just after 5am, playing through until dusk. This year, Rodd raised over $9,000 thanks to the support of his community. When he started out five years ago, Rodd’s goal was to raise $50,000 by 2012. When he tallied his final total this year, Rodd found that he exceeded his goal – raising $50, 241.98. We applaud Rodd for his creative fundraising idea and for his steadfast commitment to creating a future without breast cancer.
