Congratulations New Glasgow

The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure New Glasgow site was born to bridge the gap for our CIBC Run for the Cure participants who live between Halifax and Sydney.

The people of New Glasgow helped us immediately upon hearing about our arrival in their town. Through sponsorship, site location and helping us find volunteers, we knew we made the right choice for our new Run site for 2013. When first-time volunteer Run Directors Paul Atta and Melissa Castonguay took their leadership roles by storm and entered the scene of an already formed committee with their experience, knowledge and enthusiasm for success, it just added to what was already blossoming to be a fantastic Run Day for Sunday, October 6, 2013!

Congratulations to the town of the New Glasgow, all sponsors, donors, volunteers and participants and especially to a fantastic new Run committee who all contributed to raising over $36,444 to date!
