Fellowship Program

The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation – Atlantic Region (CBCF) is now accepting applications for the 2014 Fellowship Program. This program aims to foster independent breast cancer research in Atlantic Canada and is intended for qualified recent MD graduates or PhD graduates to begin their careers as social, clinical or basic science investigators in breast cancer research.

CBCF – Atlantic Region will award one Fellowship per competition. The duration of a Fellowship grant is two years at $40,000 per year for a maximum of $80,000. Candidates may use other funding in addition to the CBCF Fellowship Award to carry out their project.

All applications must be entered online using WebGrants, CBCF – Atlantic Region’s web-based application and grant management program. If you are a first time user of WebGrants, you must register and be approved by CBCF before accessing the application.  You should allow 2-3 business days for this process.

WebGrants can be accessed at https://webgrants.cbcf.org/login.do

Inquires about the CBCF Fellowship program can be directed to Angie McAuley, Senior Director, Communications & Health Promotion, at 902-423-8274, toll-free 1-866-273-2223 or via email.

The deadline for 2014 applications is now closed.
