Grants

The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation is committed to funding breast cancer research, education and awareness programs and advocacy, and has been for 25 years. In 2010, the Foundation allocated over $23.7 million towards cause related work, of which $15.9 million was allocated towards breast cancer research, community health grants and fellowships across the country.

Our rigorous grant review process and focus on the full spectrum of breast cancer research, education, advocacy and other cause related work establishes the Foundation as a respected leader in the breast cancer community.

Our commitment to funding breast cancer research is strong, and
in fact, the Foundation has recently committed to a new national research funding opportunity called the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation National Grant Competition on the Earlier Detection of Breast Cancer, which will help offset the drop in breast cancer research dollars caused by the recent dissolution of the Canadian Breast Cancer Research Alliance (CBCRA).  Learn more about the National Grant Competition
