Research in Atlantic Canada

Thanks in part to our donors, volunteers and supporters our Atlantic wide breast cancer research community has come to be known internationally recognized.

“The ground-breaking research that is currently being supported in Atlantic Canada by the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation is leading the way to more effective prevention strategies and an eventual cure for breast cancer,” said Dr. David Hoskin, Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation – Atlantic Region Endowed Chair in Breast Cancer Research.

Scientists throughout the region are working every day to advance research with funding from CBCF – Atlantic Region. Our Atlantic Region research reviewers spend an average of 30 hours each year reviewing research grants. They do this to ensure that every dollar you donate supports only the best and most promising breast cancer research.
