CBCF’s Breast Health on the Go program is designed to reach and distribute breast health information to as many people as possible throughout British Columbia.  We do this through a number of different initiatives.

Breast Health 101

P1000027 (2).jpgDo you have questions about your breast health? Don’t be shy - CBCF will come to you with the answers! Get the "4-11" on breast health, breast cancer, early detection, risk reduction and more.

Breast Health 101 is a free, informative educational opportunity offered to corporate, academic, interest, or community groups.

These presentations can be customized to fit the dynamic of your group; whether your preference is a formal style or a more casual "coffee talk" format, we are open to delivering the info in a way that best suits you. Learn more and book your session today by contacting us at bchealthinfo@cbcf.org.

Dragon Boat Teams

Survivorship Boat.jpgWe are very fortunate to have the help of our Dragon Boat teams across the province. They are great ambassadors and help get the message out by attending events in their local communities, sharing important breast cancer and breast health information with those we would otherwise have difficulty reaching.

Health Fairs/Community Events

BH on the go health fair3.jpgCBCF representatives and volunteers attend many events throughout the year such as the Diversity Health Fair, The Delta Health Fair and the West Coast Women’s Show which allow us to educate and inform people around BC about the importance of breast health and how they can reduce their risk. If you have an event you would like us to be a part of, please email bchealthinfo@cbcf.org.

Collateral

BH CollateralPic.jpegSharing vital information and breast health knowledge is very important. After all, knowledge is power, especially when it comes to early detection, knowing about breast cancer risk factors and proactive ways to help reduce your personal risk of breast cancer.

Do you have an upcoming event or a group of people who you would like to share our breast health materials with? We would be happy to send some to you! Contact us directly at: bchealthinfo@cbcf.org.
