Named Endowments

Naming an endowment is a beautiful way to remember a loved one or to create a long-term legacy in honour of a group of people or someone special. For example: The Jane Smith Endowment Fund for Breast Cancer Research.
Funds in the endowment are invested and the income spent according to your direction.
Working with your family, friends, co-workers and teammates makes it easier to meet the minimum goal of raising $25,000 over a three year period. You can then choose to designate the income from the endowed fund to (a) support your favourite dragon boat team or (b) one of the Foundation's five areas of focus:
•    Breast Cancer Prevention
•    Early Detection
•    Treatment
•    Research
•    Health Care Workforce Support
Your named endowment will also receive special recognition in our annual report and on our website.
You can now fundraise online by creating your own personal fundraising page.
Learn more about named endowments and if you have any questions please call (604) 683-2873 or email us at bclegacygiving@cbcf.org.
