Ribbon of Hope (monthly gift)
Donate through our Ribbon of Hope programme and make a significant and lasting
investment in the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. This programme allows
you to donate an affordable amount of money, on a monthly basis, that will
greatly support the advancement of breast cancer research, education, diagnosis
and treatment all year long.

Tribute Cards
Tribute gifts are donations made to honour an individual or family, mark a
milestone event or memorialize a loved one, friend or colleague. To send

Planned Gift
A planned gift is a special gift for the future. It is arranged now, usually
within an individual's estate or financial plan, but actualized at a later
date.
Bequest
A bequest is a gift stipulated in an individual's will, usually in the form
of personal or real propert
Life Insurance
This gift can refer to any of three different types of life insurance policies:
- a new, irrevocable policy;
- an irrevocable paid-up policy;
- or an existing policy on which premiums are still owed.
In all cases, the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF) must
be named as owner and beneficiary. Premiums are paid either to the
insurance company or to the Foundation and are tax deductible.
Gift Plus Annuity
The Gift Plus Annuity is a legal contract that enables the Canadian Breast
Cancer Foundation to purchase a lifetime annuity on behalf of a donor. The
balance of the contribution becomes the donor's gift to the Foundatio
Gifts of Residual Interest
A gift of residual interest is usually encountered when a donor wishes to make
an irrevocable gift of property -- such as a residence or a gift of art --
while retaining life interest (the use and enjoyment of the property, for
the remainder of the donor's life).
The Charitable Remainder Trust
A Charitable Remainder Trust is funded with income-producing assets (cash,
securities, or real estate). The income is paid, for life, to the individual
beneficiary or donor and the principal is donated to the Canadian Breast
Cancer Foundation upon his or her death

Gifts of Stock Options
Charitable Stock options are a type of donation that enable individual to give
to a Foundation that, in turn, can be bought at a certain price.

Transfer of Shares / Stocks /
Mutual Funds
This form of planned giving refers to donating publicly traded shares, bonds,
mutual funds, bills, warrants and futures listed on key Canadian stock exchanges
or a number of foreign stock exchanges.

Gifts in Kind
Gifts-in-kind involve the donation of property, goods or services in lieu of
cash.
