The Pink Tour - Atlantic Region

May 27th, Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF) - Atlantic
Region in partnership with Shoppers Drug Mart and CIBC, are launching
The Pink Tour. For five months, this public education campaign will
teach Atlantic Canadians about how small lifestyle changes can reduce
your breast cancer risk - while also promoting the importance of breast
screening. The Pink Tour will encourage women to take action by trying
one new thing and completing their own breast health plan through an
interactive online tool.
The Pink Tour branded mini-van, pop-up display
and three bilingual Tour reps will make over 120 stops in 80 communities
across the region.
For the past years, Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation has hit the road in a big pink bus. Touring the Atlantic provinces, Ontario and British Columbia, bringing information on breast health and breast cancer screening to women in hundreds of communities, and encouraged women to sign up for their provincial breast screening programs.
