VOLUNTEER APPLICATION FORM

Events Volunteers (Fundraising Events).

The Foundation has a number of important annual fundraising events including the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure and various breast cancer awareness activities. These events typically take place during October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and require an array of volunteers with various commitment levels.  Organizing committee volunteers work year round to coordinate these events. They help find sponsors, market the event, and ensure all the logistics on the event day are finalized.  To host such dynamic events, many volunteers are required on event day to help with event set-up, tear down, food, registration, and more.

Pink Ribbon Makers

The pink ribbon makers have been gathering every year since 2004 in each of our regional offices to raise awareness of breast cancer by producing hundreds of thousands of ribbons. We distribute over one million of these ribbons across the country.

Project Administrator and Office Support

Our busy offices are kept running smoothly thanks to the efforts of our administrative volunteers. With multiple year-round projects and events always on the go, we wouldn’t get far without your ongoing support in everything from data entry to research support and project administration.

Board Member

National and Regional Board Members are involved in the governance of the organization as trustees on the National Board of Directors, Regional Board(s) of Director and/or Advisory Boards. These individuals are ambassadors of breast health in Canada.
