Thank you to our dedicated volunteers for your support. The Foundation could not continue to make a difference without you.

Volunteers are the backbone of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and we are proud of the dedicated support of thousands of volunteers across Canada. From the strategic leadership of our national and regional boards of directors, to our Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure event leads and thousands of part time and full time volunteers across Canada, volunteers are intrinsic to the Foundation’s success.

As the largest volunteer-led organization dedicated to creating a future without breast cancer in Canada we count on our volunteers to provide vital support to the Foundation.

The Foundation 's volunteer program is built on the strengths of a group of individuals from a wide range of ages and cultural backgrounds. We welcome thousands of occasional volunteers each year, as well as those looking to make a longer commitment. Volunteers accommodate many roles within the Foundation: from answering phones to making pink ribbons to organizing Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure events in their communities. There are also senior level opportunities, including grant review panelist and board member opportunities.

Often motivated by a personal connection to the cause, these remarkable people unite in a common goal. Learn about various volunteer positions in your area and sign up to become a Volunteer and learn more about the Benefits of Volunteering.
