CIBC is a committed member of the Foundation's corporate family. Lending its support to both national and local initiatives, CIBC continues to be a leader.

2011 marked the fifteenth year of CIBC title sponsorship of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure.
Since 1992, CIBC employees and volunteers have raised almost $30 million for the Foundation.
Team CIBC is led by a group of volunteer "Run Champions" who are responsible for team registration and fundraising promotion of the CIBC Pink CollectionTM CIBC 'pink products', training branch employees on donation procedures and contributing to Run planning for each of the Run sites.
In mid September, CIBC declares "Think Pink Week" to create that final push for employee and customer registration and fundraising. In Toronto, as in other cities, a special Think Pink event engages employees, provides a forum to share information regarding breast cancer, and celebrates the community that comes together to support those living with the disease.
In 2011, over $30 million was raised, including $3 million from Team CIBC through organizing fundraising events, collecting pledges and proceeds from the CIBC Pink CollectionTM to help create a future without breast cancer.
The Foundation is proud of the strong partnership and the depth of commitment that has evolved within CIBC over the years.
Like the Foundation, CIBC is looking forward to Sunday, September 30, 2012 when thousands of CIBC employees, their families and friends will take part in the 21st annual Run for the Cure, joining 170,000 people in 60 communities.
CIBC proudly supports regional programs in additional to the national support they offer. Each region works with CIBC on programs that are specific to the needs of their communities including support of the It’s About Time consensus forum in Ontario, the 2020 The Future without Breast Cancer in BC, the Tour for the Cure in Atlantic Canada and the LinkPink: Lance Armstrong for Breast Cancer event in the Prairies/NWT region to name a few. Visit the regional pages for more information on these ground breaking programs.
