Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure

NATIONAL RUN SPONSORS

The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure could not take place without the support of our caring and community-minded sponsors.  It is our privilege to profile CIBC as the event’s Title Sponsor and the full group of National Run Sponsors who contribute so much to the success of this event.

CIBC is proud to be in its 13th year as the title sponsor for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure.

In 2009, Team CIBC had more than 13,000 participants and volunteers who raised nearly $3 million for the Run!

“Creating a future without breast cancer and the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure has become CIBC's most strongly supported cause," said David McGown, Vice-President, CIBC Government and Community Relations.  "Our employees, their families and friends participate in the Run across the country.  We are proud of the 13,000 members of Team CIBC and volunteers who are dedicated to making this event such a tremendous success and take pride in the more than $23 million raised since 1992."

We'd like to invite you, your family and your friends to join us at the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure in your community on Sunday, October 3, 2010.

“We wish to continue in creating a memorable experience on Run day and continue to be pleasantly surprised from the gratitude and involvement we witnessed from participants and survivors.” - Team New Balance.

"Thanks to the collective hard work and fundraising, we will soon cross the finish line we are all striving for – a future without breast cancer," says Running Room Founder, John Stanton.  It takes real team work to achieve this goal.

Together, the Running Room's team of customers and employees play an important role in helping to shape healthy communities.   In addition to being a National Sponsor of the Run, the Running Room's "Pink Ribbon" line of athletic clothing generates funds each month, for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

Running Room staff continue to take on significant volunteer positions at many Run sites, enhancing Team Running Room's participation.
