FALL 2011 CALL FOR PROPOSALS – NOW CLOSED
The fall 2011 call for proposals for the Ontario Region Research Project Grant Program was issued in mid-September 2011 with an application deadline of Friday October 21, 2011.
This funding program provides operating support for laboratory and pre-clinical investigations; clinical projects and epidemiological studies; psychosocial, cancer control, survivorship, and health services research that demonstrates direct impact and relevance to breast cancer, and includes strategies for knowledge translation and dissemination. Proposed studies may include participatory community-based methodologies. Projects may be up to three years in duration, with total budgets of up to $450,000 (maximum $150,000 per year).
CBCF-Ontario Region funded 25 research projects submitted to last year’s call for proposals, totaling approximately $8.2 million. It is anticipated that available funding for the fall 2011 call for proposals will be at a similar level.
