​​Tell us why creating a future without breast cancer is important to you!

Whether you’re living with a breast cancer diagnosis, have been through treatment, have a friend or family member affected by breast cancer, volunteer with Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, or donate to the cause, CBCF would love to hear from you!

“Tell Your Story” allows you to share what motivates and inspires you to support the breast cancer cause and/or CBCF with others in the breast cancer community. We encourage you to share your personal story, either in video or text format. You may decide to keep your story private or give us permission to have it published on our website or YouTube channel.

Alyssa and Casey: Twenty years ago, Heather ignited the torch of “Heather’s All Starrs” – a Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure Family and Friends Team. Here is a 20-year reflection from her children.


: Janet shares why she volunteers with CBCF and how she would feel about a future without breast cancer.


Peter: "Men don’t get breast cancer, women do." That’s what Peter thought at least, until he was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011. He shares his journey here.

Heather, Fern & Patsy
: Spirit of Yoga is an annual community event held in support of CBCF. Listen to why Fern created the event, along with co-organizers Heather and Patsy.

Faith: Faith is only 12 years old but has been fundraising for the past five years, in honour of her grandmother who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006.


: Comedian Judy Croon explains where she got the idea for "Stand up for the Girls" - the hilarious annual event that raises funds for Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. 

Norb: In August of 2011, Norb's wife Sara was diagnosed with breast cancer. Here Norb shares the eulogy he gave at her funeral this year, highlighting her steadfast resolve to persevere and to never give in. This beautiful sketch of Sara was also drawn by Norb.


: Erica explains why she participates in the in Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure and why the cause is so important to her. Congrats Erica on your award!
