Metastatic Breast Cancer Fund
We’ve been moved by the overwhelming response to our inspiring story about two women in Newfoundland who have transformed their metastatic breast cancer diagnosis into a journey of supporting others like themselves. Read the story here.
Since 2011 the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation has invested nearly $10.5M in metastatic breast cancer research. This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we launched a metastatic breast cancer fund for the specific goal of supporting people living with metastatic breast cancer and furthering research. Visit the Metastatic Breast Cancer Fund donation page and make your contribution to directly impact those living with metastatic breast cancer.
Breast Reconstruction Awareness
A new article has been published linking immediate breast reconstruction to a reduced psychological impact from undergoing a mastectomy. Read the full article here and its explanatory press release. We believe that every woman, regardless of her age, should know her options and follow the best course of action for her, and we make the information and community support accessible through Breast Cancer Reconstruction (BRA) Day events and its website.
Visit our online information and resources on the BRA Day website and consult our Events Calendar to view BRA Day events that are happening near you.
