2010 contribution (January 1 to December 31, 2010): $359,000

Total number of years for program: 8

RE/MAX agents contribute to the Foundation as volunteers and fundraisers through Sold on a Cure (where agents donate a portion of their commission from the sale of each home), Yard Sale for the Cure, RUN for the Cure, and many other RE/MAX-organized fundraising events.

In addition to their tremendous volunteer and fundraising support, RE/MAX Ontario-Atlantic Inc was a principal funder of Upfront: New Perspectives on Breast Cancer, a first-of-its-kind research initiative that studied the experiences of Ontario women diagnosed with breast cancer. The research findings, published in the 2007 report Toward Kinder Care: Tracing Women’s Experience of Breast Cancer, have inspired the Foundation to develop new projects focusing on providing more coordinated treatment and care to breast cancer patients. RE/MAX was also a Silver Sponsor of the Foundation's Galaxy of Stars milestone celebration in 2008 and remains a presenting sponsor of Yard Sale for the Cure.
