First hosted in Edmonton 2003 Batting Against Breast Cancer^TM is an annual slo-pitch tournament that brings together families, corporations and slo-pitch teams looking to hit a home run and help create a future without breast cancer. It has been such a huge success in our Region that it is now hosted at five different sites! In 2011 over $480,000 was raised to help create a future without breast cancer.

Starting in the spring our teams of 10 to 15 players begin raising funds to meet and exceed their fundraising goals in order to participate in the tournament.  Players then join us for a fun day of slo-pitch and festivities all in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation – Prairies/NWT Region.

Batting Against Breast Cancer^TM is more than a fundraiser or a slo-pitch tournament.  While each site is unique, the tournament day is action-packed and filled with activities for players, their families and spectators.  Event highlights include opening and closing ceremonies, pancake breakfasts, entertainment & family activities.
